Maxxsonics® USA Launches New Autotek® Mean Machine Series Subwoofers

Chicago, IL January, 2009 – Maxxsonics® USA is launching an outstanding series of “built to blast and built to last” Autotek® Mean Machine subwoofers. They are perfect for use in very small sealed and vented enclosures. The new MM subwoofers are available in 10-, 12- and 15-inch round and a 12-inch square and are all dual voice-coil designs. The 10- and 12-inch are available in both DVC 2-Ohm and DVC 4-Ohm configurations.

Mean Machine subwoofers start with a powerful 100 oz. high-energy double-stacked magnet assembly coupled to a nickel-plated extra-thick back-plate to focus all the amps energy within the speaker’s core. Four-layer hi-temp aluminum voice-coils take the magnetic energy and transfer it efficiently to the subwoofer cone. Next, the all important spider assembly was addressed by our acoustical engineers when they implemented a single-piece tinsel-lead Nomex® spider assembly to prevent fatigue caused from the massive cone vibrations. The wiring configurations are endless with these incredible sounding, loud pounding Autotek DVC subwoofers.
