Maxxsonics® USA Launches New Autotek® ATX Subwoofer

Chicago, IL January, 2009 – Nowhere else is The Evolution of Power more evident than in the new Autotek® ATX series subwoofer from Maxxsonics®. At a sizeable 15”, this incredible performing sub is ideal for high power listening levels and extreme SPL competition. The ATX1615 offers superior sonic accuracy and intense high power sound quality at 1600- watts RMS. The 3” dual voice coil 2-Ohm high temperature black aluminum former handles intense high power, while a 1” high roll polyester foam surround provides long excursion. A large air cooled 160 oz. double stack magnet assembly adds increased motor strength.

An overall great looking unit, but don’t let the cosmetically appealing look of the white chrome finished basket fool you. This high powered sub is built to be durable for years with uncompromised consistent quality play. The double laminated poly cotton spider assembly with woven tinsel leads was engineered to prevent fatigue and a ported back-plate disperses the heat. Plus, the FEA structured glass impregnated paper cone and nickel-plated push and insert speaker terminals keep the amps energy focused within the speaker’s core. A vented enclosure is recommended while minimizing the distortion and maximizing efficiency to produce even greater sound.
